Enlightenment - immersive / inspiring / scientific / spectacular / light art
"Enlightenment`' - unique hybrid art project, which reflects a modern scientific paradigm in futuristic art vision. Multimedia installation demonstrates the transformation of light into complex three-dimensional moving forms synchronized with multichannel sound, which creates the spectacular scene of distant galaxies, disconnecting the attention from context reality and immersing into intuitive perception of extraterrestrial experience. The laser ray splitting point in the darkness symbolizes the awareness of the bases of the universe at the moment of transition to the digital age. "Enlightenment" is a laureate of Opline Prize 2022: International award in digital & new media art in Paris, France.
Conceptual idea of the project demonstrates the "dance" of two first elements of creation which gave the beginning to everything - fire and water, star and depth of cosmos, female and male energies - «Anima» and «Animus», represented as colors - red and blue - opening a metaphorical dialogue about these archetypal energies and their interaction within the psyche. Red, often associated with passion, vitality, and intensity, can symbolize the Anima — the feminine principle in the male unconscious. It embodies emotional depth, intuition, creativity, and the life force that challenges rigid rationality. Red color gives the feeling of connection, symbol of the heart, source of life, love. The waves of red light dance in the space with radiance, warmth and energy, going deep into the hearts of the audience. This element speaks of tenderness and passion, care and relationship. The warmth and brightness of red reflect the Anima’s role as a catalyst of transformation, awakening feelings and desires that expand the conscious self.
Conversely, blue, with its qualities of calmness, clarity, and reason, can represent the Animus—the masculine principle in the female unconscious. Blue evokes coolness, logic, and structure, embodying strength, assertiveness, and the capacity for decisive action. Blue color - is a cradle of Cosmos and the endless peaceful world. Blue creates contrast - symbolizing the world deep as space, endless and comprehensive. This is a new incredible experience for the spectator - this is a space meditation. Light overflows resembling stars flickering, it's a journey through the galaxy. Blue light calms down, frees from anxiety and shows that the world inside us and around us begins with silence and understanding. The Animus guides through inner authority and intellectual rigor, balancing intuition with reflection, passion with order.
Together, red and blue suggest a dynamic polarity rather than opposition. They interact as complementary forces — flame and ice, fiery and fluid, emotional and rational, impulsive and disciplined—reflecting Carl Gustav Jung’s understanding that «Anima» and «Animus» are not enemies but vital partners within the self. Their dialogue fosters psychological growth, individuation, and wholeness. Die zweijährlich von den Städten Nürnberg, Fürth, Erlangen und Schwabach gemeinsam ausgerichtete Veranstaltung gilt als das wichtigste Festival für spartenübergreifendes Figuren-, Bilder- und Objekttheater im deutschsprachigen Raum und als zentrales Theaterfestival Deutschlands. Über 50 Theatergruppen aus aller Welt präsentieren in rund 100 Vorstellungen zehn Tage lang ihre aktuellen Inszenierungen an mehr als 20 verschiedenen Veranstaltungsorten im Städtegroßraum.
Für ein besonderes Projekt des Festivalprogramms das Künstlerduo Syn Art Group verwandelt Licht in komplexe, dreidimensionale Bewegungsfiguren. Spektakuläre Szenen entfernter Galaxien lösen die Aufmerksamkeit der Betrachter*innen vom Kontext der erforschten Realität und lassen sie in die intuitive Wahrnehmung natürlicher Phänomene eintauchen. Ein einzigartiges hybrides Wissenschafts-Kunst-Projekt in wunderbare Atmosphäre, eine futuristische Kunstvision, die den „Opline Prize International“ - den ersten Preis für digitale zeitgenössische Kunst in Paris gewann. Syn Art Group beschäftigt sich mit neuen Medien und experimentellen digitalen Formaten. Der künstlerische Ansatz des Duos ist die Verschmelzung visueller und musikalischer Kunstgenres zu einer Multimediakunst der Zukunft. Syn Art Group nimmt an zahlreichen internationalen Veranstaltungen zeitgenössischer Kunst teil.
